On the last day of my 45th year...

To sum up this year has been filled with change. Career wise, at the beginning of the year I was applying for a position, then 4 months later I started, 8 months after that, I passed probation. Growth. In as little as 8 months, I have grown so much as a supervisor & as a LCSW. Learning how to take on personalities on another level would do that to someone. I’m getting better at the come backs too...at least I’m trying.

Running wise I finally have gotten to a sub 2 half marathon level & I did that for more than half of my halves throughout the year. I even knocked off a few more minutes on my marathon PR. Still, a work in progress. Figuring out my weight after a medication change, but I sense my muscle gain. Also, speed is here. I just need to get rid of this pesky cold.

We adopted a new babe. He fits in all of Jersey’s things. I think Jersey would approve, he even has most of Chulo’s mannerisms. But I still do miss him so.

The girls are age’ing nicely. My friend gave me some stairs & Lizzie has learned to climb up & down. O used a lot of treats the first day, after that she just used them more. Toki just likes to jump. She also likes her stylish hair, that mama continues to do.

O & I are good. Because of our work I still won’t post pictures. I’m still keeping my FB name, because inmates found me & can figure out who I am regardless of how I hide my name. They even sent me letters at home & my 115 meant nothing because of a green clinician. But I pray she learns & not the way I had too.

Change is inevitable & good. At least it has been good this year. I’m excited to see what’s going to happen next. So on the eve of another new year, I thank everyone for all the learning lessons. I grew because of each & every one of them. 🥂
